Selected Question:
HOW DO YOU ORGANISE YOUR CELL MEETING TIMES?
Answer:
  • The bulk of the Home Cells (lowest levels) happen on Tuesday nights from 19h00 to 21h00 including youth Home Cells.
  • Leadership Cells are not happening every week. Mostly fortnightly, on any other night of the week besides Tuesdays.
  • The Senior Pastor meets formally every week with the District Pastors on Tuesdays from 08h00 -16h00. But he is with us through Wednesday to Thursday, and so we are in constant communication.
  • The District Pastors are in constant communication with each Zone Supervisor. They meet fortnightly with Z.S. and fortnightly with the Cell leaders. I.e. week one with Z.S. week 2 with Cell leaders, Week 3 with Z.S. Week 4 with Cell leaders.
  • The District Pastors are the busiest, they on average are contacting each Z.S. twice per week and each Cell leader once per week. They also rotate to different Home Cells each week, mainly the problem ones.
  • The Zone Supervisors rotate between Cells in their Zones from week to week and are compiled to have one leadership meeting with their Cell leaders per month. Most of them have more than one meeting.

This all sounds quite formal. The key here is relationships, the relationships are of such a nature that it is like a family, there is constant communication etc. For example with the Zone Supervisors who were under me, I would seldomly have to follow them up. They out of their own would contact me, tell me of their whereabouts, suggestions, findings, plans etc.
