Selected Question:
Do you have a checklist for transitioning a Cell Church?
Answer:

In our ACT seminars we have a detailed checklist from our overall transitioning strategic plan. This one is extensive, but due to the copyright agreements on the ACT, I cannot include these onto the website. Briefly however the table below deals mainly with the Cell System and things you should be doing.

LEADERS

Experience and model Cell life

Leaders Step #1

Senior Pastor plus 3 potential Pastoral leaders form a leadership Cell with their spouses.

Leaders Step #2

Choose 9 potential leaders and study the Cell concepts together.

Leaders Step #3

Form leadership Cells led by the 9 leaders that you have trained up. These leaders experience Cell life with their spouses.

Leaders Step #4

Take the congregation and make Zones of 60 to 250 adults.

Leaders Step #5

Assign a leadership team using your 12 (9+3) trained leaders to each of the Zones. 1 Leader for every 50 people.

Leaders Step #6

Choose 5 potential leaders from each congregation to become Cell leaders and begin training them.

Leaders Step #7

Form 5 leadership Cells using the people in step #6. Invite leaders to join these Cells. Use the people from step #5 to supervise these Cells.
