Selected Question: Can you tell us more about the DNA Manual that Little Falls Christian Centre has made available at the CCI Conference in June 2001? |
Answer: Answered by Little Falls Christian Centre
We are always seeking ways to improve the functioning and multiplication of Home Cells. This manual represents the starting point of an ongoing project in which we are endeavouring to place a practical manual that is universally applicable, in the hands of every Cell Leader, whether they be Jethro (5x5) system, the G-12 system, or any other system.
In this publication, we have deviated from the usual manual to a versatile clip file concept so that updates, new ideas and personal notes can be inserted in the appropriate places. It has been compiled in such a way that it will be continuously upgradeable. Not only will there be revised pages made available from time to time, but Church leaders will also be able to include their own ideas and cell material in the manual addressing specific needs in their own congregations.
It would be highly appreciated if Church leaders could either fax or email us their additions or changes so that this manual may develop into a world Cell Church project that could be of benefit to all.
Remember that this is only the first step as we will be adding to and developing the manual as new concepts and ideas are birthed.
We have purposely sought not to develop a complex theological manual, but rather a simplified guidance handbook that could be kept on hand by the Cell Leader during the Cell group meeting. It is not recommended that the Cell Leader consult the manual during the meeting, but rather prior to the meeting, if there are any queries he may have. It is a practical step-by-step manual. It must be assumed that the Cell Leader is already familiar with the 4 Ws i.e. Welcome, Worship, Word and Works. The guidelines are found in the 4th Manual of the Equipping Track. It can also be found on the Website at www.littlefalls.co.za.
This work is a quick reference for Pastors, Zone Supervisors and Cell Leaders covering the most commonly asked questions on Cell Life.
In addition, new notices issued by Pastors to Cell Leaders as well as the local churchs year planner and monthly newsletters, can also be filed in the same manual.
It is assumed that, at this stage, the Equipping Steps booklets with their manuals, namely E1, E2, E3, E4 and E5, are familiar to the reader.
After much discussion and debate between a group of twelve Pastors, a final list was compiled, reflecting what was believed to be the most vital ingredients for a successful Home Cell. The motivation of this file is for a Home Cell to grow and multiply effectively. The ingredients for cells worldwide all contain certain vital universal characteristics we have called "DNA". This "DNA" would be the causative factor of healthy Cell growth and multiplication in the Home Cell.
As new information and revelation becomes available, the DNA manual will change. These sections or pages will be made available on the Internet at www.cellchurch.co.za and at Cell Church Internationals offices [view details].
